1-2 Tbsp butter or bacon grease
1 lb button mushrooms, cleaned and sliced
1 garlic clove, minced
chicken broth (optional)
Heat butter or bacon grease in a large pan over medium heat. Add garlic and saute for 1 minute. Add mushrooms and cook for about 10 minutes or until cooked. Season with salt to taste.
If desired, add about 1/2 cup of chicken broth and simmer until heated through.
